How would people react to women becoming faster sprinters than men like these scientists study?

There is nothing to imply that that trend will continue until men are surpassed. The trend indicates that female athleticism has increased disproportionately to male athleticism, but as a result of cultural change. The overall trend for speed to gradually increase for both sexes can be attributed to many things, but both trends should taper off. Men are better built to run faster. Unless there is a change of human anatomy in a century and a half, there is no scientific basis for women to overcome this athletic edge.
