How long will it take for my finger to heal?

I slipped on some moss whilst camping and popped it out of socket. It was bent at a 45 degree angle at the knuckle. I immediately popped it back into place. It hurts but only minorly and is swollen. I can bend it almost the full rotation of the rest of them but is mainly stuck in the relaxed position. How long til i can safely use it?
