1* trade value in nba 2k11 association?

Im the oflando magic in association mode and made some trades before i played my first game. Im thinking of upgrading the pf spot because i have bass and anderson. Im only 4 games in and everybodys tv ent to 1*, even granger who has improved his rating and gets more pts and rebs than last year (28ppg 8rpg) his morale is very high. Evdn dwights and arenas went down, even though they had 5* at the beginning of the season. No stats went down except dwights rpg (11). I play 8 minute quarters. Could that be why?
